Webinar
The Digital Markets, Competition and Consumers (DMCC) Act will start to be implemented in stages from as early as December 2024. With this in mind, the DMCC Digest webinar series will explore various key aspects of the new legislation.
This series includes five online sessions, leading up to a sixth in-person session at our Annual Competition Law Conference, where we will bring it all together and provide practical tips for compliance. Each month, our expert speakers will delve into a different topic, offering valuable insights into how the DMCC Act may impact your business.
This first session will provide an overview of the new DMCC Act, then focus on merger control.
We will discuss key developments and potential risks and challenges, including changes to merger review jurisdictional thresholds and procedures and increased administrative penalties that the Competition and Markets Authority (CMA) can impose.
Each session is scheduled for an hour, with the first 40 – 45 minutes consisting of presentations, followed by a Q&A session, with our legal experts.
Who should attend?
The webinar series is suitable for in-house legal counsels, competition lawyers and General Counsels seeking to enhance their knowledge of the DMCC act.
