Chris is a Senior Practice Development Lawyer, supporting the Litigation & Regulatory team.
Chris has a broad remit, working with and developing know-how systems, creating precedents, designing training programmes, and producing articles and client publications. Chris is a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy, and uses his experience as a lecturer to deliver innovative and effective training to colleagues and clients. He also works on a number of projects to enhance quality and efficiency of client service, such as SmartDelivery.Before becoming a PDL, Chris gained substantial experience as a practitioner, working at Magic Circle and major national firms. He is an experienced litigator, with knowledge of a range of methods of dispute resolution, and specialised in contractual disputes, warranty claims, and disputes involving directors and shareholders. He has acted for companies, directors, and high net worth individuals. Chris was a senior lecturer at the University of Law, lecturing in company law, dispute resolution, mergers and acquisitions, and equity finance.
