Cameron advises clients from a range of sectors on the drafting and negotiation of construction and engineering contracts. He also advises on issues associated with the funding, sale/acquisition, and operation and maintenance of built assets.
Cameron is familiar with all of the main industry standard forms of contract, including NEC, JCT, FIDIC, IChemE, ICC and MF/1, as well as bespoke EPC, O&M, professional services and framework contracts. He advises on construction and maintenance aspects of major projects, from procurement strategy, demolition and site preparation, through to procurement of the main buildings or process plant, interface on multi-contract procurements and connection to existing infrastructure.
Cameron also specialises in the negotiation and re-negotiation of O&M and other long-term maintenance agreements for new-build and operational assets. Cameron is qualified in England & Wales, but has also practiced as a foreign-qualified lawyer in Victoria, Australia, and has experience advising on major construction and energy projects across EMEA, APAC and South America.
