A series of webinars that will share critical thinking across both the public and private sector and will explore whether the government's proposed planning reforms are likely to do the job in terms of facilitating the rebuilding of the UK economy.

Details

This webinar will consider and discuss the Government's response to the climate and environmental emergency in their planning policy reforms.

Planning has a critical role to play in delivery and outcomes and we will explore what this means for decarbonisation of buildings and infrastructure, and we will ask whether the proposals go far enough to meeting net zero law.

In addition, we will look at how the proposals may impact natural capital, including habitats and biodiversity and whether the proposals will help more closely to integrate land use planning with planning for climate, resilience, health, wellbeing and the environment.

Who should attend?

Designed for those who are involved in planning across environment, where attendees will gain an insight into the issues that need to be considered, offering an appreciation of the challenges facing each market.
