An extensive range of Safeguarding support services are available both in the proactive (prevention) and reactive (crisis management areas of work). We can tailor make our offering to include any or all of our safeguarding services to suit the circumstances of the client.

A sensitive and considered process

We are experienced in handling all aspects of this work with great sensitivity both with those who have suffered abuse directly and those in the client organisations who are managing allegations, undergoing audits or wanting to implement safeguarding systems. We do so without compromising on the delivery of the objectives.

An experienced and multi-disciplinary team

Our team is made up of a number of highly experienced lawyers, who are recognised leaders in their respective field of expertise. We complement their skills with a wider team of non-legal specialists, including skilled and trained investigative interviewers, counsellors, communications advisors and safeguarding and education experts.

Over the last decade, cases of systemic neglect, sexual harassment and abuse (physical, emotional or sexual) at high profile companies and associations have been well publicised. Sports clubs, schools, universities and religious institutions are but a few of the organisations that have been affected and implicated. At Pinsent Masons Safeguarding and Child Protection Team, our core aim is to offer comprehensive ‘survivor-first’ support to organisations needing to protect children and vulnerable adults in their care.
