Senior Associate (Barrister)
Madelaine is a barrister specialising in international arbitration and cross border litigation involving high value complex disputes with links to the Middle East.
Madelaine has practised in London, Dubai and Oman over the past thirteen years. She conducts much of her own advocacy in international arbitration. She also has Rights of Audience before the Senior Courts of England and Wales and the DIFC Courts in Dubai.
Her experience includes conducting arbitration proceedings governed by the DIAC, ICC, CRCICA, DIFC-LCIA, ADCCAC, LCIA and UNCITRAL rules under English, Qatari, UAE (on and offshore), Omani, KSA, Egyptian, Sudanese and Shari'ah law for clients in the infrastructure, oil and gas, and renewables sectors.
Madelaine has recently been appointed to the panel of arbitrators at the Oman Commercial Arbitration Centre.
