Sharon heads up Learning & Knowledge for Climate & Sustainability at Pinsent Masons, developing and managing internal and external training programmes and knowledge resources to improve education and awareness-raising on climate change, sustainable development, sustainable finance, and ESG.
Sharon has extensive experience as a finance lawyer and consultant, having worked in international law firms Weil Gotshal & Manges, Allen & Overy, and DLA Piper, where Sharon was a partner, before joining Pinsent Masons in 2014. Sharon has significant experience advising financial institutions, corporates, governmental authorities, and not-for-profit entities across a broad range of finance transactions, including debt capital markets, structured finance, project finance, corporate finance, bank lending, and debt restructuring, as well as on corporate governance, DCM and ESG disclosure and reporting requirements, and financial regulatory matters.
Sharon has advised on listed DCM transactions, wholesale and retail offerings, new capital and debt raisings, liability management transactions, re-financings, and restructurings. Sharon is often consulted on sustainable finance transactions, products, documentation, and market principles, climate and sustainability policies and legal risks, and developing regulatory regimes for sustainable finance and climate, sustainability, and ESG related disclosures.
